Sinan Anlaş graduated from Biology studies department of Dokuz Eylül University in 1999 and the same year he worked as a teacher in a primary school in Diyarbakır. In 2002 he began to study his post graduate degree (Msc) in Ege University Biology department. When completed in 2004, he began to study PhD in the same field. He fulfilled the study of PhD in December 2007. He studied on the family of Scoliidae in the Msc thesis and for the PhD thesis he studied on the familias of Staphylinidae. During this time he found the opportunity to search at many European museums. There are some species dedicated to him by several searchers. His scientific aim is to discover the fauna of Staphylinidae in Turkey and to study on the science reading and writing which is one of the significant need of Turkish peoples.
